Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are looking fora responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Responsibilities

  • Answer and Direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms. 
  • Assist with preparation of regularly schedule reports
  • Develop and maintain filing system
  • Provide general support to visitors

Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular) 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Future Coil LLC ,a leading company in the pocket coil mattress industry, is rapidly expanding its operations and is looking for experienced mechanic technicians for assemblers and pocket coiled machines. Relocation package is included for potential candidates once hired. Commensurate with experience.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Repair equipment, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems as well as welding and electrical work, when needed.
  • Inspect and investigate the cause of the failure or malfunction of machinery in order to perform corrective repairs
  • Install, optimize and/or adjust all factory equipment to maximize efficiency. Fabricate parts as needed.
  • Improve equipment reliability by completing prevention-oriented planned work
  • Maintain orderly parts and tools inventory
  • Provide recommendations to management on upgrades and improvements that increase equipment reliability.
  • Perform facility maintenance as needed, lights, plumbing, doors, etc.

Required Competencies

  • 2-5 years working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of machine automation and basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Material fabrication and welding skills
  • Successful candidates will be able to create written records of work performed.

Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move heavy raw materials and finished product around our facility. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Commensurate with experience.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Perform daily/weekly inventory cycle counting
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Required Competencies

  • Proven experience as forklift operator
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts

Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, verify and document that finished goods meet customer specifications.
  • Perform incoming inspection of materials, when applicable, to customer standards
  • Stop production line if major non-compliance of specifications, standards, or quality is found during the inspection process.
  • Follow-up inspection of non-complying product that has been re-worked and corrected.
  • Complete deviation forms and record findings of inspection process
  • Maintain inspection journals and daily summary logs as required.

  • Train line personnel on quality issues and objectives in support of production leadership
  • Complete Non-conformance reports for defective products and materials
  • Responsible for keeping the control of non-conforming products and materials
  • Communicate quality problems with plant manager.

Machine Operator

Principal Responsibilities

  • Inspect work area and surrounding work area to ensure it is picked up, clean and in appropriate working condition.
  • Inspect and prepares all equipment and machines for safe and proper operation.
  • Lubricate machines/equipment as required.
  • Make necessary adjustments and/or minor repairs to maintain the desired quality of the finished product.
  • Ensure the quality of the product meets specifications.
  • Place finished product on conveyor system or roll pack according to production requirements.
  • Produce the proper production reports in a legible format.
  • Responsible for proper housekeeping of equipment and surrounding area.
  • Observe all plant safety rules and regulations, wear proper safety attire at all times. Working hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1st shift) and 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (2nd shift)

Required Competencies

  • Ability to reason through problems involving operation.
  • Ability to visually inspect equipment and to detect adjustments. • Ability to understand directions.
  • Ability to read and operate a tape measure other precision measuring tools are helpful
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Must have worked in a production and manufacturing facility before
  • Must be able to work in manufacturing production environment and perform a significant amount of work in all spaces within all facilities
  • Must have prior experience as a machine operation
  • Must know how to read a tape measure down to a 1/16th of an inch.
